KD supports LiuGong at Bauma
Highlight - 2019
KD’s heavy weight PR capabilities supported LiuGong at the world’s premier construction trade show Bauma.
The KD team developed and fully executed the communication and media strategy with creative content and digital support.
Our team provided support to LiuGong executives on site and helped managed the international media event.
Expanding our team
Following our recent relocation, we’re also thrilled to announce the expansion of our team to include a partnership with Gordon Young Architects. Gordon is responsible for the interior of the award-winning VIVI restaurant at Centre Point, London and the East-Asian inspired fine-dining restaurant Hutong at The Shard among many other high-design projects.
We also welcome distinguished architect and business strategist Simon Reed whose role as Project Director at KD will see him focus on the integration of product design into the built environment, practically and efficiently at all different scales. Our team expansion reflects the growing interdisciplinary approach to design and allows us to develop opportunities where industrial design meets the built environment and vice versa. Watch this (integrated!) space...
After weeks of preparation and settling in, we’re delighted to finally reveal that we’ve relocated our primary London office from Great Portland Street, in the West End to Mitchell Street, St Luke’s - just a couple of minutes walk from Old Street Station and the hustle and bustle of Shoreditch, Clerkenwell and the stunning Barbican Centre. The area is alive with design activity and will definitely play a part in our trends research and networking events. As a bonus, St Luke’s Church (at the end of our street) is the permanent home of the London Symphony Orchestra, Ironmonger Row Baths is next door and buzzing Whitecross Market with its wide variety of street food just on the doorstep. We look forward to having a beer with you here soon...
The move also marks the expansion of our architectural and interiors capability. More on that in the next post!
