Black Yamaha is a sub-brand of Yamaha originally created for Tokyo Designer’s Week 2003 by David Keech and the Yamaha design team in Hamamatsu, Japan.
Our close relationship and knowledge of the Yamaha brand allowed us to plan, design and manufacture this large exhibition stand at the famous Berlin trade show.

We invited designers, artists, musicians, writers and thinkers to curate everyday personal objects that express musicality, resulting in special events and a Yamaha book.
A close relative of our Table For Duke, using the same technology and even some of the same parts. The idea is to offer simple, well-designed furniture pieces that share the same manufacturing and components.
LOCOG / RCA
David Keech led the Royal College of Art project to design the London 2012 Olympics medal podium, working closely with RCA students and LOCOG, organisers of the London Olympics.
